Hi! I'm helping set LP up for a friend. Is there a way (dual screens) to make both screens visible? He's using a tablet, which would be ideal for selecting songs, but a much larger monitor to display the song window. The monitor requires a mouse to make changes on that screen. I can't just copy the display to both, the vertical mode on the tablet makes a very small image on the monitor. Thanks! Chris

Hi Chris, displaying both windows at the same time is unfortunately not possible - this collides with some of the internal logic of LivePrompter, and also creates some potential of messing things up, so LivePrompter intentionally hides the selection window when the song window is shown. Changing that would be a major change - for a relatively niche use case. So not really planning to do that - also given that this collides with the longer-term roadmap of moving the PC platform to the newer "mobile" version of LivePrompter, which follows a strict "single screen" design. What you can do in LivePrompter classic is display the selection screen and the song screen on different screens, so you could certainly have the selection screen with the song list on the tablet and the song screen on the monitor. The selection screen remembers its position, so if you drag it to the tablet screen (in a side-by-side extended monitor setup), it will remember to show there. For the (full-screen) song window, there is a setting (FullScreenDisplay=...) in LivePrompter.ini that you can use to direct it to the larger monitor.
Hope this helps! Cheers, Torsten
