How do I set up the midi settings to play and pause the liveprompter in my Daw (Studio One)?
I've already find a way to change the lyrics to each song, but I can't make the liveprompter to play when I it play in my daw...
this is my midi setting in LivePrompter:
MidiAlwaysSendBankSelect=yes
MidiChangeToAllOnPC=yes
MidiInPC=yes
MidiInKeys=yes
MidiInPort=loopMIDI Port
MidiInChannel=omni
MidiOutPort=loopMIDI Port

Essentially, you need to do two things when controlling LivePrompter from a DAW:
First: send a program change from your DAW to select the correct LivePrompter document at the beginning of a song. This means having a correct MidiReceive.txt document in your MIDI subdirectory mapping program changes to song files. Also, you need to set the correct MIDI Input port and input channel, and you need to set MidiInPC to yes. This will automatically load the correct song into LivePrompter. It looks like your settings manage that nicely - good!
Second: to automatically play or pause, you need to define the correct MIDI command in LivePrompter.ini to control the Play/Pause key. E.g. define MidiInKeyPausePlay=CC 66 - this means that when your DAW sends a non-zero value of ControlChange 66, LivePrompter will react as if you had pressed the Play/Pause button. Also, you'll need to set MidiInKeys to yes (which you already have).
So it looks that all you are missing is defining the correct MIDI command for the Play/Pause button in LivePrompter.ini. Then you'll need to make your DAW send that MIDI command after loading the song, and LivePrompter should start into scrolling mode.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Torsten

How do I Find the midi cc? Not sure if we have a language issue here, but there is no need to "find" a MIDI CC. You simply decide which command you want Studio One to send to LivePrompter to make it start scrolling. Let me illustrate: Say you have a DAW project that you want to control LivePrompter with. So the first thing you do is to create a MIDI track in your DAW song, call it "LivePrompter" and route it so it sends MIDI output to LivePrompter via a virtual MIDI port like LoopMIDI. Now, on this MIDI track, you first create a Program Change command to load the correct song in LivePrompter when you start playback in your DAW. You'll probably want to give yourself some time to read the beginning of the song so you know what you're doing, so you'll probably want to start your actual audio a couple of seconds after this Program Change. The next MIDI command on this "LivePrompter" track will be the one to start scrolling. So you'll have to decide what command you want to use - since the track is exclusively routed to LivePrompter, you can choose pretty much any CC or Note On command. For this example, I'll choose a Note On command with C 3, which is note number 60 in Studio One. So you'll have to enter a C 3 note (velocity > 0) in your DAW LivePrompter track when you want to start scrolling your LivePrompter song (probably at the same time the actual audio starts in your DAW). Now when you configure LivePrompter.ini with MidiInKeyPlayPause=N 60 LivePrompter will start scrolling when it receives the C3 note that your DAW sends from its "LivePrompter" track. I think theres another way in studio one to atribute midi confuctions to external midi devices butt i need to atribute midi cc to the LivePrompter commands then sudio will recognize the cc, then its only atribute fuctions. how do i do that? Honestly, I have no clue what you are trying to say here - can you maybe express it differently? Cheers, Torsten

Sorry for my bad English
I'll try to explain better
I'm using the Studio One 5 Show page, as I've said before I was able to configure the changing between songs with the program change command, I've a midi track with multiple patches each one with a different program command referent to the song one Liveprompter (eg. Patch 1, Program 1 - AC/DC Back in Black; Patch 2, Program 2 - Metallica Enter Sandman.
The issue it's a don't know how to hit play in the Show page and send this information to liveprompter to start scroll the song...

OK, that's not really a LivePrompter question, but more a Studio One topic: how do you get Studio One to send either a specific Control Change or a Note-On command to LivePrompter on changing songs in the Show Page? Since I don't use Studio One, I'm afraid I can't help you here. Maybe there's someone here on the forum who also uses Studio One? Maybe worth asking the question on a Studio One user forum on how to send a Note-On or CC command when changing songs. Once you manage either a Note-On or a CC command to LivePrompter, it is just a matter of configuring MidiInKeyPlayPause=... in LivePrompter.ini, and things should work from there. Sorry I can't help you further - nothing I can do at the LivePrompter end, I'm afraid... Cheers, Torsten
