To get straight to the point: LivePrompter 2 is really fun and runs perfectly! Last weekend we had our first two gigs with LP2. During the transition phase from the old electronic system (no, we have already retired the traditional ringbook solution 20 years ago ;-)) I not only got to know the advantages of LP2 but also appreciated them. A big advantage was that existing sheet music and texts could be integrated as graphic files with absolutely no problem. This saved a lot of time. The pure text sheets were newly created in Chord Pro format. And when the MIDI-capable Windows version was released on June 10th, everything happened very quickly. LP2 was integrated into the existing Midi network of Bome Midi Translator pro, Cantabile VST Host and Miditool Playlist (as a virtual 8x8 Midi interface). The LP2 is controlled on the one hand via MIDI in the LAN and on the other hand via LP Connect in WLAN. At the same time, there is still the option of intervening manually or using a foot switch. However, during our first two gigs with LP2, this option did not need to be used. Since I started working with LP2, I have had contact with Torsten on and off. Some of my wishes and suggestions were also implemented, which hopefully helped to further optimize LP2 for other users. Torsten, thank you very much for the constructive exchange and support! It's exactly as Torsten says: LivePrompter does one thing only, but that it does pretty well…
