Hello I love LivePrompter, and have managed to get almost everything I need working with my set up, which is controlled by Ableton Live Just one thing I can't get to happen though: I can't seem to operate the play/pause key using a MIDI note on command. I'm able to do it with a control code, but because Ableton works in envelopes, LivePrompter receives multiple commands and toggles between play and pause very fast and unpredictably. When I try to do it with a note on command, either using the note number or the note code (for example N 52 or N F3 or even N F-3) nothing happens. Here is the relevant section from my LivePrompter.ini file: MidiInPort=loopMIDI Port
MidiInChannel=11
MidiInPC=true
MidiInKeys=true
MidiInKeyPausePlay=N F3
MidiChangeToAllOnPC=yes Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance Algie

I just did some experimenting, by the way, and I'm able to get LivePrompter to respond to note commands using another form of sending MIDI notes, so it looks like the issue is not with LivePrompter itself.
But if anyone has used LivePrompter with Ableton and had the same problem, I'd be grateful for the benefit of your experience!
Ta,
Algy

Hello When I try to do it with a note on command, either using the note number or the note code (for example N 52 or N F3 or even N F-3) nothing happens. Hmmm, that's interesting. I just tested this with MidiOx, sending F3 to LivePrompter via a LoopBe-Connection, having set MidiInKeyPausePlay=N F3 Worked perfectly for me. Do you have a way of capturing the MIDI output from Ableton Live (e.g. use MidiOx and set the loopMIDI port as input)? Would help to see what Ableton Live is sending to LivePrompter... Cheers, Torsten
