I would like to share a solution that I tried and used for a bit of time now.

In short, I have a pedalboard for effects and don't want to have another (big and unnecessarily expensive) piece of plastic under my feet just to control my android tablet with LivePrompter.
Therefore, I bought a cheap (~10€ in EU, less from Asia) bluetooth ring (like this one amzn.eu/d/2BixSCd) and remapped all the buttons with the KeyMapper app according to all the inputs allowed by LivePrompter.
It can be used even when playing instruments, I use it mainly just to start the song and move to the next one, but I remapped each command to a button.
It is almost invisible, reliable and can be attached to the mic stand with a simple cable clip, I also 3d printed a more suitable and more ergonomic clip.
