Really enjoying the app, thank you. A new feature my band would love to see is for a song to remember the last used capo or transpose setting applied. Currently the song resets when next opened which takes time to adjust in a live setting.

Hi there,
glad you enjoy LivePrompter.
Re keeping capo / transpose across songs: I'm not really sure if that makes sense for most users. Typically, transposing or capo usage is specific to a song. I rarely use the same capo position across multiple songs; also transposing is typically something that is done by song - depending on the range of the singer(s) and the key of the song. I've yet to come across a situation where it makes sense to transpose a whole set list - especially live.
I introduced these temporary settings more for rehearsal settings, when you try a song in multiple keys or as a guitarist try different capo settings to find out what works best. Once we settle on a target key or capo position, we make these changes "permanent" in the song file, using the {transpose: ...} or {capo:...} / {customcapo:...} tags.
Can you describe the use case where keeping temporary capo or transpose settings active across a complete live set would be required?
I could introduce an option to keep these settings for the current session (until you quit LivePrompter) if there's a convincing use case in a live situation...
Cheers,
Torsten

Quick update on this:
The newest version now has the option to keep transpose or capo override settings active across songs - but that means the same settings being applied (e.g. when you have a guest singer who wants everything a couple of semitones lower or higher).
But if you want song-specific settings regarding transpose or capo, you'll need to embed these in the song using the {transpose:} and {capo: } tags.
Cheers,
Torsten
