LivePrompter doesn't find .txt-files in the Dropbox rootfolder "Dropbox" and ignores my seleceted source path! I do not have a computer connected. Files are just inside Dropbox. Any suggestions? Thanks for helping, Frank.

The path you enter when defining a source is a relative path inside your Dropbox root folder (see manual / help pages). If you set the source as "Dropbox", LivePrompter will be looking for a folder "Dropbox" within your Dropbox folder.
The error message you are receiving during sync means that LivePrompter didn't find a folder "Dropbox" within your Dropbox, or that no files were found there. Therefore LivePrompter is aborting the sync - behaving as designed... Same thing would happen if you mis-spelled a folder name - if Liveprompter doesn't find files at the path you provide inside your Dropbox, it aborts...
Putting your file into the root folder simply won't work with LivePrompter. This would mean setting your dropbox folder to 'empty' - and LivePrompter will not accept an empty folder name when creating a source. That's just the way LivePrompter is designed - it needs a valid non-empty path to work. Also, it makes good organizational sense to keep your LivePrompter files in a dedicated folder in your Dropbox - you may want to use your Dropbox for more than just LivePrompter.
So create a folder (e.g. "liveprompter") in your Dropbox root and put your .txt files in there. Now set your source path to "liveprompter" and things should work then.
I'll make a note in the help file that LivePrompter actually needs a folder inside your dropbox to work, and that you shouldn't put your .txt files at the root...
Cheers,
Torsten
