Hello - posted this in the classic by mistake.
This isn't actually a Live Prompter issue but it might be useful to have something about it in the guide as this had a couple of contributors to our annual Christmas Concert stumped.
If you are new to dropbox and have opened an account to get access to someones Live Prompter folders you will find that LP cannot access the folders because your Dropbox needs your permission to join that folder.
You should have received an email from Dropbox telling you that the folder has been shared with you. It will look like this
Go to your dropbox account and sign in.
On your dropbox home page, scroll down and you will find "Shared" and that will have a folder icon called whatever the Live Prompter user has called it - it might be "song list" or "concert", something like that. This is the file that you need. Tap on it and you will get a page that tells you “You have been given access to this folder”. Tap the blue “join folder” button.
Go back to the Live Prompter app and sync again.
All being well you should see a revolving blue wheel and the files all downloading to your phone or tablet.
