Could this be a little narrower? It’s not that relevant when in live use

I want to use LivePrompt on an Ipad. On my old Ipad Cord pro will not accept PDF files. Will LivepPrompter read and play on an Ipad from a folder of PDF files?

Will LivepPrompter read and play on an Ipad from a folder of PDF files loaded onto the Ipad by me? thanks a) if you want to ask a question that has nothing to do with the topic of the thread, please open a new thread - and in the correct section ("support" instead of "feature requests") - let's keep this forum somewhat clean, OK? b) LivePrompter will not use PDF files - see the manual: www.liveprompter.com/help/help-mobile/introduction/song-files-the-home-directory-and-dropbox/c) On mobile devices (iPads, Android tablets), LivePrompter cannot access content that you have uploaded directly to that device. It needs to have the data in its own protected data storage. To get it there, you need to keep your files in Dropbox. See the manual - same link as above Cheers, Torsten

Not going to change anything on the Status Bar beyond current options - sorry! Thanx for the coffee! Well...what about, what about.... making the header and footer slide out of the display when the scrolling is activated? Re-appearing when the screen is touched? Forgive me if this is just way too complicated to execute. I am in awe of your ability to develop this app and am really pleased with it. I can communicate songs with the 4 piece band I head up, giving them chords and guidance as well as lyrics, then a different set to a choir I run who have no need of chords, just different song parts, then another to people taking part in a Christmas concert. No excuse for losing/leaving their file at home. They never forget their phones... Brilliant! All for the price of a cup of coffee! Many thanks Ian

Well...what about, what about.... making the header and footer slide out of the display when the scrolling is activated? Re-appearing when the screen is touched? The header and footer have a definite function during a live show: The header shows the current status (scrolling / paused / stopped) in its color, and the metronome, and the footer is there to always show you what's next, so you can mentally get ready for the next song while playing the final chord. You really want to see the scroll status at a single glance from the corner of your eye - so many times when I've forgotten to hit the "start scrolling" button during count-in or accidentally paused scrolling in the middle of the song. Seeing that friendly green status bar gives great peace of mind... I made Liveprompter as "non-fiddly" as possible - having to touch the screen to see relevant information is definitely too "fiddly" for my taste. I operate LivePrompter completely "touch-free" via MIDI from my main keyboard for most of the evening; other users use foot pedals (or just a single pedal to get through the whole show - see "Universal Key"...) with a larger screen sitting on the ground. LivePrompter was built to require as little interaction as possible - needing to touch the screen to display certain information goes against that principle. So this will not be happening - sorry! Cheers, Torsten

It was while I was getting accustomed to the add and noodling away with it that I thought the header and footer would be a distraction but in a live situation they are a great help. My brain was still transitioning from the big black lyrics file!
