Trying to install LivePrompter for my lovely wife who can't seem to remember the lyrics to songs she has written. When I try to install it I get the "Creator Cannot be Identified" error. I have tried 4 or 5 of the many many solutions posted on the internet to no avail. Help! Wife has completely overestimated my computer capabilities.

OK, did a bit of checking. This message you are getting is due to the fact that LivePrompter for Mac isn't "notarized", i.e. certified by Apple. Unfortunately, I can't notarize the app, since some of the (third-party) libraries it depends on apparently aren't signed correctly.
This means that you will have to teach your Mac to open an app that hasn't been notarized. To do this:
- open System Settings - Go to "Privacy & Security" - scroll down to find "LivePrompter was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer" - click "open anyway" - a warning prompt should appear - now click "Open" to override your Mac's concerns.
Now, LivePrompter is saved as an exception in your security settings; you should be able to open it in future
You might have to run through this again when you install an update - not sure; I'm by no means a Mac expert...
