Suggestion - add an option to sync on startup without prompting, and then go to the songlist screen?

Interesting - will have to think about this. You'll want to be sure that this doesn't lock up your tablet trying to sync at a live gig where you don't have internet connectivity...

Good point about lockup without 'net access. Making that feature optional (via the setup screen) with the default behavior to prompt should mitigate.

Not giving up that quickly - will just have to see if I can first do a quick check for connectivity before attempting the actual sync. I'll have to look into it. Also, some streamlining of the auto-sync could be useful - do not recreate the databases if no files have changed. Will save some time, so an automatic sync isn't so painful ;-)
One important point: once started, a sync can't simply be cancelled - otherwise there will be inconsistencies in the data. So need to be careful around this.
I'll put it on the backlog!

OK, there will be a reworked version of the sync process in the next published build: - You can select different behaviors for "Sync on Startup": none / interactive / silent. Interactive is the current behavior which will prompt you to sync and then show the Sync page. Silent mode means that the sync will start without prompting, and there will be no Sync page, but rather a simple progress dialog. After sync, there will be a simple non-blocking "snack" alert showing if the sync was successful or not.'
- There is a new setting "automatically close successful sync": when a sync runs without errors (ends with a green circle), LivePrompter will automatically close the sync page and go back to the home page. If something goes wrong during the sync, the Sync page will stay open, so you can find out what happened.
I'll be testing this version for the next couple of days, will release it after our next gig on Saturday (yay!) if no issues pop up.

Works great in 1.4.5... but you know that already. It happens so fast you wouldn't know it sync'd except for the brief "Sync Successful" display at the bottom. (Except on one laptop that runs extremely slow since I upgraded to Windows 10... the sync takes about 20 seconds, and I actually see "saving" at the end.)
