Greetings, great job on v2.
Question about >highlights< ... In the classic version, the green highlight was very distinct, bright green, possibly bold. In v2, I can't find a color selection to match. The highlight is much more faint, particularly on a couple of monitors. Is there a way to specify the hex value used in the classic version?

Unfortunately not with the library I'm using for the settings menus - only shadings of the standard "material" colors.
Don't you think you can find some color in that broad range that is sufficiently "highlit"? You're not constrained to green - how about some "hot pink"?
I don't really want to change color selection to hex color codes - a color pop-up is far easier for the majority of users than having to fiddle with hex codes.
Personally, I like my setup less color-intensive - too many and too bright colors can be distracting. I usually set my text color to a light grey and the highlight color to white - the light grey is easier on the eyes than having the text fully white, and having the highlights fully in white makes them sufficiently different to recognize, but less distracting.
But that's just me...

btw: highlights were never bold (unless used within the chorus marked with start_of_chorus, end_of_chorus, with the "chorus bold" setting - makes all text in the chorus bold)

OK, I'll check out hot pink and maybe vermilion. I can hear the guys now... "where's my part? It's supposed to be green!" Yeah without hjaving dug further, I thought maybe hex codes were an alternative to choosing from the palette... On an unrelated note, MS Excel has the same issue with green.

Yeah without hjaving dug further, I thought maybe hex codes were an alternative to choosing from the palette... If you want to be reeeeally nerdy, you could actually "hack" the profile: in the "manage profiles" page, you can copy the content of a profile to the clipboard by long-pressing a profile name. Now you can paste it into any text editor you want to use and edit it directly - the colors ARE actually stored as hex codes (when there are four bytes, the first is opacity, which should stay at FF). After editing the colors in the file, select all text and copy. Now go back to LivePrompter "Manage Profiles" and add a new profile. If you did everything correctly, LivePrompter will now ask you if you want to use the data from the clipboard to create the new profile. If you answer "yes", the new profile will be created using your edited settings. This way, you can go completely crazy with hex colors - but use this at your own risk; you can also mess things up royally by editing the settings directly... Note: the relevant setting for your highlight color is "HighlightColor"; for light mode it is "dmHighlightColor" (dm for Daylight Mode). Of course, you can also hack all other colors to your heart's content - I take no responsibility for the outcome... If you want to deploy this on a regular basis, it may actually be useful to have a "Profiles" folder in your Dropbox with pre-configured profiles in text files - see this section of the Help pageCheers, Torsten
